Free printable! Superheroes coloring book.

I was talking to my friend Nikolai the other day about superheroes and movies, and of the blue I had this idea of doing a coloring book with superheroes.  Designing coloring books is so much fun for me!  Specially if it is of a theme I enjoy.

So here is the printable for you to make your own - I am sure your dolls will love it!

Feel free to print as many times as your like, make gifts for your friends and pass the file along to anyone - links back are nice too! Just please do not sell the file or your creations.  Thank you and enjoy! ♥♥

Free printable! Fall coloring books

Fall is here! Oh, how I miss the beautiful fall colors I enjoyed in Virginia.  Here in Salamanca we go from the heat and brightness of the summer to a grey, chilly fall, with no colors to enjoy, due to the lack of trees.

And what better way to entertaint oneself now that the weather does not invite one to go outside than making miniatures?  So for you to spend some fun time at home with a cup of hot steaming tea and a cracking fireplace, here are some fall and Thanksgiving themed coloring books, both for children and adults.  Enjoy!

As always, feel free to print and make as many as you like, gift them to friends, and pass the file along to anyone (links back are nice too!).  Just please, do not sell the file or your creations.  Thank you! ♥

Free printable! Ballet coloring books

I have been having so much fun in the last days designing and making coloring books!  They are so simply, and yet so delightful  I have already 3, and if the mood strikes me, I may do more.  However, since most of them are seasonal, I will be uploading them when the date is correct.

But ballet knows no season, so here is the first one.

I hope you enjoy the printie.  As always, feel free to make as many books as you like, gift them to friends and share the file (links back are nice too!), but please, don't sell the file or your creations.  Thank you! ♥

Free printable! Ouija boards and boxes

Given that I have a wonderful coffin bookcase, I was anxious to feel it up with Halloween goodies, and the best goodies are the ones you can make at home.

So I made some Google searches and found some really cool pictures of Ouija boards and boxes.  I spent yesterday afternoon cleaning them up and turning them into miniatures, so Kassandra has something to entertain her guests.

The board fits inside the box!

Here is a printie for you to make 2 set of different boxes, boards, instructions and planchettes.  Feel free to share them, give them as gifts and pass the file onto anyone (links back are nice too), but please, do not sell your creations or the file.

The Ouija boards I already had, from the time my shop was open.  The black box I recreated with the help of a picture of a vintage Ouija box from the 30s-40s.  I could not find a date for the blue and orange box, though.  I am not very happy with the planchettes; I included them so your set would not be incomplete, but I actually plan to make a planchette out of polymer clay.  Maybe you can do too, or you can use a jewelry finding instead (maybe one in a heart shape?).

Enjoy them!

EDITED TO ADD:

This is what I finally did to make a planchette:

I used a bit of brown polymer clay, and cut it with these two cutters: a big one with a tear shape to make the body of the planchette, and a smaller round one to make the hole for the message.  I baked it like that for 15 minutes and removed the planchette once it cooled.  The round bit stayed behind, so no need to do anything else.  I hope this helps!

Belly dance magazines and free printable

As Kassandra was so busy with her ballet magazines the other day, I forgot to tell her I had at home some belly dancing magazines - I am a belly dancer as well - and I thought maybe she would like to have them, as I had already read them.  So, I put them in a bag and took them to her.

"I brought you something".

"Did you?  What is it?"

"It's a collection of belly dance magazines I had around.  Maybe your daugther can have some use for them.  They are a gift for her."

"Oh, are you not delightful? Thank you very much!  I am sure Jean will appreciate them.  I will give them to her on your behalf."

"You are welcome.  I hope she enjoys them."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fantasy apart, it was so much fun doing the ballet magazines that I wanted to have some of belly dance.  I did not know if I would be able to find any, but apparently there are (or used to be) some.  These were more difficult to find, so there are not so many.  Also, I had to be content with putting some DVD covers in the backs, as there were even less adverts of belly dance events or vendors, although I found a couple of them.  The bag is new as well.

If you belly dance I am sure you will recognize some of the people in the covers...

Except for the Dahlal ad on the left, the rest are quite famous dancers
As with the ballet magazines, I am happy to pass on the file to you, in case you want to make some for yourself.  Here are the belly dance magazines.  Feel free to use them and pass them around, but please do not sell them.  Have fun!

Free soap box display printable

It's been some time since I made minis for myself instead of for sale.  Lately I have been doing printables to dress up the shelves in my soap shop.  I have still not picked up clay to make the actual soaps, but doing the boxes, the labels, and the box displays is being so much fun.

Funny thing, I had not realized that creating for others was as fulfilling as creating for oneself.  Now that my shop is closed, I miss sharing my creations.  So, since I do not think I will be selling printables again, I am sharing with you all one of my soap displays.  Remember the Ivory soap display?

Here is the printable for you to make as many as you like!  Just, as always, please do not sell them.

I hope I can post pics of my progress very soon.  Enjoy the crafting!

Miniature soap box display available in my shop

I love tiny toiletries!  Even though my dollhouse does not have a bathroom, I love to peruse for them and create my own - and then gift them to my mother, who do has a bathroom.

This miniature is very special, because it has a real vintage label from Ivory soap:

It is a display box that holds 12 tiny soap boxes, all of them with the Ivory soap label on both sides.  Boxes can be opened, and they come in 2 designs, white and blue.  They would look wonderful on a shop, spa, drugstore or pharmacy counter.

If you want more fun, why not make your own?  This design is also available as a printable for you to download and assemble.  Come and take a look!

A new section added to my shop!

Hello all, and Happy New Year!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday time.

And so, the new year brings new stuff for the shop!  I just added a new section entitled "Printables".  The titles says it all: it will have minis in digital format that you can purchase and instantly download in your computer for hours of fun!

At the moment, I have two printables: a collection of Victorian mourning boxes (remember them?), and a collection of witchy art for witches and wizards' homes.

Stay tuned, as days come by there will be more coming!
